Our membership is comprised of people who enjoy history, reenacting historic events and more. You need to be of good character. All applications will be screened with a background check.

Annual dues are $45/year. For prospective members, first year’s dues are submitted with your application. Students are at a reduced fee.

A member of the Rhode Island Militia person needs to be 18 years old. Any member under the age of 18 must have a parental consent form signed. It is strongly encouraged that a parent/guardian join and participate with any member under 18.

The Artillery Company typically meets the first Tuesday of the month throughout the year at the Armory at 23 Clarke Street at 7:30pm.

The Artillery Company currently holds a monthly staff and business meeting every first Tuesday of the month. During the meeting, events are read to the members, and sign-up sheets are circulated. Events are voted as voluntary or, in some cases, mandatory.

Upon being accepted as a member, the Company Quartermaster will provide you with the necessary components for you to get started. It is suggested that you plan to purchase your own uniform parts and accessories.

The Artillery Company participates in several parades, encampments, reenactment battles, and color guards. These events are held locally (RI, CT, and MA).
